The Jeremiah House

The Jeremiah House opened September of 2007 and is currently housing seven clients assigned by the Veterans Administration. Jeremiah houses both PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and SUPT (Substance Use and Post Traumatic Stress) clients. The only other facility of this type listed on the VA’s website is in Honolulu Hawaii, making Jeremiah the only residential treatment facility of it’s type in the continental United States. The program is administered by the Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center. Clients are transported to and from classes and appointments there and receive individual counseling and attend groups at Jeremiah and ISIAH House.
